My intention to write a CUPS-HOWTO

Hello, there,

I would like to ask wether there is a CUPS-HOWTO in the making already
somewhere?

CUPS = Common UNix Printing System.

In the last 6 months I've done quite extensive testing of this wonderful
piece of printing software and collected a lot of material. This has
resulted in 3 articles in the German Linux-Magazine so far (issues 02,
04 and 06/2000). I will be giving a talk at the Linuxtag 2000 on the
topic.

I've started to work on the CUPS-HOWTO already.

I am in contact with Grant Taylor (Printing-HOWTO). He will receive my
CUPS supplements for his more general HOWTO. However, I think, as CUPS
is such a completely new sort of printing software (Based on the
emerging Internet Printing Protocol, IPP), there should be a seperate
CUPS-HOWTO.

I shall provide English and German versions if my intentions are
approved.

Thoughts?
