Land and Air Acceleration:

Increases the rate in which you obtain your full movement speed. Increasing responsiveness and control, while also increasing the speed in which you can move from a standstill or while changing directions, also making ramp jumping easier.

 

Air Control:

Increased air control allows you to change the direction of your movement while in the air.

 

Player View height:

The View height makes you feel closer to the ground, which gives the illusion of faster movement, and more closely resembles the view present in Q1, Q2 and Q3.

 

Hitbox (8 sided Cylinder):

By using the cylinder hitbox this reduces the amount that the player gets caught on corners as they round them.

 

Grapple (on-hand weapon select):

The grapple is a great tool for altering your movement around the map. Many tricks and movement accellerations have been found while using the grapple.

 

Jumping:

We brought back double jumping, which adds to Quake 4 ramp jumping and crouch sliding.
