Draw Pane

This pane is available by default. It can be removed using the Window menu.

The draw pame consists of two areas, a list of the constituent processes of the target composition displayed on the left and a blank canvas for depicting LTS graphs on the right.

The display operates in two modes selectable from the Options menu. In the default mode, when an item in the process list is selected, its LTS graph is displayed in the canvas area. The graph can be stretched horizontally and vertically using the arrow keys or by clicking on the icons in the vertical toolbar.

In the multiple LTS mode, the graphs for more than one process can be displayed in the canvas area. To stretch a graph it must first be selected by clicking somewhere within the graph. A rectangle is drawn around the currently selected graph. A graph can be remove from the display either by clicking on its entry in the list or by selecting it and pressing the backspace key.

During animation, the current state of a displayed graph is colored red as is the last executed transition. In addition, any process that has a transition labeled by the last executed action is colored red in the process list.
