Why OmniWeb is the best browser out there today 

     OmniWeb is designed to help you get information
     from the web quickly. We haven't thrown in a lot of
     other cruft that just complicates your life and slows
     things down.

     Unlike other browser companies, we don't think
     the web should be like TV, where you tune in to
     channels and passively watch whatever the
     powers-that-be decide you should watch. 

     So, we've concentrated on things like making
     bookmarks extremely easy-to-use, and adding a
     very useful search panel, and allowing
     bookmarks to automatically check themselves for
     new content. Other browsers have attempted, over
     the years, to copy our features, but we think we still
     have the nicest user experience of any browser. 

Licensing information 

     OmniWeb 3.0 was released on July 20, 1999, and
     comes with a free, non-expiring 1-user license.
     This means the first user at any site can always
     use OmniWeb for free. For more than one user or
     more than one machine, you should purchase
     additional licenses ? see 'Pricing'. 

     Below is the final temporary ten-user demo
     license. This license will expire on July 31. After
     that point if you need more than the complimentary
     single license you will need to purchase the
     appropriate number of licenses.

Some plug-ins you might want 

     HTTPS (secure sockets) support is available as a
     separate plug-in from Object Innovation Center (http://www.oic.de/software/),
     and it works great. JavaScript is available as a
     separate plug-in (http://www.omnigroup.com/products/omniweb/plugins/javascript/): it is currently in beta and will
     cause crashes, but it does enable some sites.
     Java doesn't work in this beta but will be a free
     upgrade to registered users (on Mac OS X only).
